OUR HISTORY
My dad began in a small garage with basic tools in 1977 at the age of 24. In 2003 after finishing up school I came on full time. I worked my way through the shop and really got into the technology and manufacturing science. Over the years Northland Woodworks moved into designer, architect and contractor led projects. Along the way, we found a need for high quality custom modern cabinets that could be rapidly designed, bid and produced without long lead times, damage in transit and shipping costs.
Ultimately, we realized the professionals we work with have a vision for a product, and a need for what we can produce, they simply need a way to use our machinery and space to do it quickly and efficiently. The name Pilot comes from a love of aviation, and being across the street from the Anoka airport.
